Beaver Creek State Park
Pioneer Village is open weekends and holidays from the 1st Saturday in May through October as volunteers are available. The Village is brought to life the first Saturday of each month! Events occur between 1PM and 3PM. Stop at the working 1800's Grist Mill to watch them grinding grain, walk to the Blacksmith's Shop to see how the Blacksmith's worked. Fall back in time and visit a one room School House and let the kids play period games as they did at recess. Watch rug making, spinning and see how they used the old time tools.
Pancake and Sausage Breakfasts are served complete with fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate and orange juice the 3rd Sunday of each month from 8AM to Noon at the Red Barn. Donations are accepted. May through October
Toys for Tots Fun Day, June 12th from Noon through 5PM
Come spend the afternnon at the park - buy a duck for the Duck Derby, enjoy pony and train rides and plenty of treats for the whole family!
7th Annual Pre-1840 Rendezvous, June 25th, 26th & 27th
Step back in time to a Pre 1840 encampment where the trappers, tradesman and settlers "Rendezvoused" after a long cold winter to trade and show their wares. See how they dressed and lived without the use of modern day conveniences.
Harvest Days! October 3rd & 4th
Stroll through the park and Pioneer Village and observe the crafters and demonstraters as they display their skills and offer many of the hand crafted items for sale. Food vendors on hand each day and observe Gaston's Mill during grinding demonstrations and take home some fresh stone ground flour or corn meal.
